Walter Tarca, President of Forefront Medical Technology shared that the recent S$ 1.5million investment in cleanroom , automation capabilities and growing its local medtech talent , allowed the company to embark on transformation early and be in a position to assist customers quickly on COVID-19 related manufacturing projects such as 3D printing swabs, reagent filling & test kits etc.
”Forefront Medical managed to pivot into the diagnostics space by acquiring capabilities in reagent manufacturing for COVID-19 test kits” stated Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat .
